Day 3: Geologic Wonders; La Fortuna Area - Friday, April 24

Today we explore some of the geologic wonders of this area and discuss their formation and impact upon the biology and culture of Costa Rica

This morning we fly through the canopy on Eco-Glide, an amazing way to experience the rainforest. Expert guides assist you safely through on this zipline course through different layers of the pristine rainforests from the time you leave the ground until you rappel back down to the forest floor. Afterwards we visit the town of La Fortuna, checking out the shops and maybe an ice cream in the square. In the evening we relax in Natural Hot Springs at Eco-Termales.

Reflection of the Day

On Day 3 we ventured to Arenal, ziplining throughout the forests of Arenal. It was extremely scary at first, but after the first few it turned from fear to amazement of the view. We also ventured to a waterfall, plunging down, as we swam in the flats below. It was a spectacular experience, and the adventerures we undertook that day was one of the most exciting days of at least my life.
