At La Selva, a research station in the heart of Costa Rican wildlife, pur guide, Andreas, led us on a bird watching tour early in the morning.  The first sounds we heard as we awoke was the communication between the bird species.  Whether that was the call of the Toucans to follow the leader and remain in a pack-style group, or the birds trying to locate a mate.  Not only endemic birds, but native birds in Costa Rica portray the liveliness of the Costa Rican people and the Costa Rican wildlife.
